Create Your Free Account

Choose Start Free from any page and enter your email and a password on the sign-up page. We send a verification link to your email; open it to confirm your address, and you're taken to your Member Home. A free account lets you start a Trade Project and use the Trade Workspace.

Sign In and Reset Your Password

Use Sign In and enter the email and password you registered with. If you've forgotten your password, use the reset link on the sign-in page — we email you a link to set a new one. For your security we never show your existing password.

Your Member Home

After you sign in, your Member Home is your starting point. From there you can open the Trade Workspace, start or resume a Trade Project, and reach Learn & Tools and your account settings.

Start a Trade Project

Open the Trade Workspace and choose to create your first Trade Project. A project is where a specific import or export is planned, costed and tracked, and where the Workspace tools save their results. You can name the project and come back to it any time.

Leave and Resume a Trade Project

Your Trade Projects are saved to your account. You can leave the Workspace at any point and return later — open the Workspace and select the project to pick up where you left off. Nothing is lost between visits.

The Trade Workspace Tools

Each Trade Project keeps your work in one place. For exports to India, the export planner guides you through eight steps, from readiness to a pack for your buyer. For imports from India, the tools cover the quote, your landed cost, documents, the shipping plan and a pack for your buyer. Each one works on your current project so its results are saved alongside the rest of the deal. Open a tool from the Workspace, or from its page in Learn & Tools.

Learn & Tools — Guides and Tools

Learn & Tools holds plain-language guides on importing into Canada — landed cost, HS classification, brokerage fees, labelling, paying suppliers and more — plus the Workspace tools. Use the guides to understand a step, then plan it in your Trade Project.

Apply to the Founding Trade Directory

The Founding Trade Directory connects importers, exporters, buyers and trade-service providers. During the founding phase you can apply to be listed using the application on the Directory page. Anyone can browse the Directory. Signed-in members can contact a business.

Trade Notes and Filters

Trade Notes explain relevant trade changes in plain language. Use the filters at the top of the index to narrow notes by status, direction and topic; select a note to read the full article and its official sources.

Resources and Official Sources

The Resources page gathers official references and downloads. Official source links are added as each is verified, so the list grows over time rather than pointing you to unverified pages.

Pricing and the First Import Starter Pack

See Pricing for the plans. The First Import Starter Pack is a one-time pack of worksheets and checklists for a first commercial import. Free features — an account, a Trade Project and the guides — do not require payment.
